Updated ZenPhoto (the photo publishing engine this website runs on) to the most recent version. I also decided to retire the old boring layout and use this smarter and more versatile layout instead (ZP Focus theme for ZenPhoto).

Going live with this new site

I have retired my old website at photopolaris.co.uk and moved to a new hosting provider and revamped the whole gallery. The old system wasn't great for photographs and was too much hard work to keep it up to date. The new address for my photography site from now on is this photopolaris.com, although the old address is still there and redirects you to this new one.

This new publishing and gallery system, powered by Zenphoto, looks ever so promising and perfect for my needs. And best of all, it is (...)

Ulvila Medieval Stone Church, Finland

Church (on the right) was built in 1332, and in which there are, among others, the memorial statues of Saint Anne and Saint Olaf. Medieval Ulvila was a town built around this church, in its adjacent vicinity. Ulvila. Red building in the foreground is the wooden bell tower. Ulvila belongs to the State Province of Western Finland and to the Region of Pori.
